Who We Are:

Barbara (Chief Passion Officer) has performed improv since 1994, and taught since 2000. She makes a career of the interplay of love and art. Barbara is a wedding officiant, the Jester of the Peace^TM, for creative weddings, including costume and adventure ceremonies. She has been seen on The Learning Channel on Four Weddings, in the New York Daily News, and is now the subject of a documentary film. Artistically, she is an actor, clown, and dancer who specializes in audience-interactive theater. As a clown, Barbara has performed original work at the New York Clown Theater Festival, The PIT, San Francisco Fringe Festival, ImprovBoston, on the Discovery Channel, and at children’s hospitals in Brazil and Germany. Through Applied Theatrics, Barbara brings her art to business, serving corporate and community events with custom characters she designs for their mission. She is a graduate of Brown University, and has an MFA in performance art. She is a Certified Laughter Leader with the World Laughter Tour. She loves to say, "Yes, and...," and embraces the positive, connective principles of improv as a way of life.

Zohar (Chief Enjoyment Officer) started improvising in 2000 and has been applying the techniques to life, business and the stage ever since. When not bringing people closer through ImprovDates he guides people to create more healthy, happy and meaningful lives through his coaching company - Stop Stressing Out. Zohar is the author of The Gift of Stress and creator of the Seven R's of Stress Release^® - a process to assess and let go of stress quickly, easily and effectively. He's been in the national media numerous times, but has a soft spot for his appearances on Cash Cab and Late Show with David Letterman.

Brody (Chief Relationship Officer) is a certified Life Empowerment coach with an area of expertise in love and relationships. Coach Brody has a BA from Vassar College in Sociology, and has been studying social interaction for over a decade. She has also trained using the Sedona Method, and is certified to practice Tikkun couples connection.She has been a columnist for Babegoboom.com, and Honeymag.com. She is (The Luv Coach) columnist for AOL Black Voices, and her SCTC stories have a large readership. She has been a spokesperson for Match.com, and is the empowerment coach for Women in Need (WIN). She is the creator of the She Caught the Crazy! relationship program and has given seminars and workshops that teach people how to stay in love and stay sane. She was the Luv coach for the Ladies Man episode of the Mtv hit series "Made", which aired nationally and globally, and garnered her a global following. Coach Brody is currently working on a campaign with BACARDI Limon which is set to launch in August 2010.
